Even though this pains me to say it, this is an amazing piece of filmaking, with strong performances and well written, listen mel gibson is undeniably the most annoying celebrity of 2006, i could use stonger language, but better not, the acting is good and it has some of the best fighting scenes ever, real fighting, not cgi graphics. I was reluctant to sit through this, it is long, and i thought no subtitles, but the story is so good, and you really feel for the lead actor, Rudy Youngblood, i will say it mel gibson is a great film maker

I most definentely agree. Gibson although annoying does know whats going on. The vigor in this movie is astounding. I have always been fasinated by lives like the characters in the movie. This movie pushed my fasination further. A must see!
So far, everything I hear has been mixed but the positive outweighs the negative and with these type of reviews, the consumer should be the judge. Gibson has always fascinated me with his movie making just as Clint Eastwood has. It was my plan to see this movie but your reviews have put an exclamation mark and this will be my next "must see" movie.
