I've officially fallen in love with the acting of Christian Bale. From his turn in "Batman Begins" and even thinking back to his role in "Swing Kids", he brings a sense of honesty and grit to his performances. He captivates. Hugh Jackman should be credited with providing a character one sympathizes with but also loathes for being so jealous and conniving. The film provides a realistic portrayal of the "wars in magic" while also utilizing a supernatural twist that could only lead to disaster if used by the wrong hands.
