I'm rating this 3 stars, because it was a decent attempt. But that's all. Bruce Timm and Co who developed the fantastic DCAU(1992-2003)has brought us a 70 minute adaptation of one of the most popular and sought after comic book series of all time..."The Death of Superman" While it was a bit more extreme than previous stuff with Superman in it(this is because of the allowance by WB and DC to make it PG-13), it should have been adapted better. A story as historical as TDOS deserved a mini series of PG-13 films collected into one set(I would have bought it). The other thing about the film has to be Anne Heche, grant it she's a great actress, but her voice in this is annoying. Anyone who likes Kevin Smith look out for a nice reference. The next film Justice: The New Frontier faired better, hopefully one day they'll come back and redo this story.It needs to be adapted, but done right.
