Synopsis: "Box office heavyweights Christian Bale and Russell Crowe pool their A-list talents for director James Mangold's suspense-filled Western, a remake of the 1957 classic starring Glenn Ford and Van Heflin. Rancher Dan Evans (Bale) agrees to transport the captured outlaw Ben Wade (Crowe) to the nearest town with a rail station, where they'll catch a ride to court in Yuma. But all the while, Wade's henchmen are plotting their next move. " "3:10 to Yuma""Good movie. Not overly violent and just about perfect in length. Christian Bale plays a Southern farmer and Civil War amputee (he fought for the North, though) who volunteers to help escort infamous outlaw Ben Wade (Russell Crowe) to the 3:10 to Yuma train, where he will wait in prison and stand trial. Brilliantly designed and filled with great performances by the two leads and the supporting cast. The movie had tons of "B-A's", Bale and Crowe being two of many "B-A's". If you like a good action movie, you'll not be disappointed." by RC=MetsFan on Sat Mar 1st, 2008 0 Comments | Reply | Report"3:10 to Yuma""This movie, I thought was not going to be that good... I think it kind of started off pretty slow, but trust me.. Well my opinion at least...is that i think this is one of the best western movies I have seen since Tombstone...The Wyatt Earp era....I recommend this movie especially to those who loves westerns... This movie has a good story line to it as well...The end of the movie throws you a major curve ball, you don't see that coming at all...See this movie if you haven't and let me know what you think...If you have seen it already let me you what you thought about the movie...Enjoy!!!" by pro5j on Mon Feb 4th, 2008 0 Comments | Reply | Report |
